Worshipful Captain Amos Brown was the first Master and Charter Member of Corner Stone Lodge, serving in the East in 1801, 1802 and 1804.  He was born in 1759 and departed this life when lost at sea in 1823.  He came to Duxbury from Boston and was a Ship's Master.
